I ordered this set and immediately set to putting the chairs together. They looked fantastic and are, in general, suprisingly sturdy. One of the back legs was shorter than the rest, but that could be fixed by replacing the glider.

On to the table... except it was damaged. One of the four wood braces on the underside of the table had a small chunk off it, unfortunately around two of the screws. When the table was put together, that corner wasn't as stable as the rest. In addition, one of the finished corners was slightly damaged, but I probably would have kept it had the structural defect not been there.

Lastly, the hardware pack came open during transit and a number of pieces were missing and it had two screws not needed during assembly or even listed in the directions. I was able to get what I needed at another retailer
I'd give the furniture - when arriving in good condition, 5-stars. I give the mail-order experience 1-star. I wish more Target products could be delivered to stores for pick-up. I imagine their own shipping operation might be better than UPS. I just printed out my receipt and will return it in-store once I pack it up. Hopefully, that goes smoothly.

Nothing has gone right with the purchase of this product. I was happy that the item arrived quickly, only to discover that the wrong item had been delivered. That issue was quickly resolved and a replacement was provided. The replacement was the correct item, but two of the chairs were defective. The built in bolts were too short to attach the legs to the chair and one leg was about 1/2" too short. When I tried to replace they basically accused me of lying since I had said the first product was defective as well, and it was incredibly difficult to deal with the issue over the phone. They will not replace only the chairs. I do NOT recommend buying furniture online with Target, simply too frustrating and not worth the risk. I am satisfied with the table and two chairs, but am basically out $160 for the two chairs that aren't functional.

Item was damaged, not do to shipping. The wood was broken that holds the legs on. Talking to customer service was bad because no one there understands English! They cant send just the table, so they are sending the whole 3 boxes again. And they wont send it over night, so im waiting double time for the table! Never Again!

I love it! This set is banging!! It looks great and is comfortable.... It was easy to put together, my husband is a beast! anyway I love it and I would recomend it to anyone. Thanx target!!!

It came in quick and was fairly easy to put together. It took me about an hour and a half by myself. It looks great! Bigger than I expected and good quality. Looks better than the picture in your house. Came a little damaged on one side of the table but not a huge deal. Would recomend it!

I ordered this set and it came in quickly. I was a little bit difficult to put the chairs together. I did have a few little chips in the chairs but they were really small. It is a 400.00 table and it serves it's purpose. It does look even better than the photo however but it is still ready to assemble furniture.

I bought this table because I wanted an espresso finished. The table is very nice...the chairs are a different story. I was sent the wrong parts so the chairs would not go together. And in order to get the new parts the whole table had to be taken apart and sent back. Very frustrating!!!!!

We received everything quite fast which was great; however, one of the chairs turned out to have a broken piece we could not repair. Then the tables hardware was all over our driveway, but we couldn't locate all the pieces. This would have been okay as far as the table, but when I called to return the chairs I had to return this as a set and not just the chairs and get additional hardware. This particular set was not in the store so we couldn't just trade it in either. I think that what they have online should also be in the stores as well. Lesson learned too late.

Firstly, as previously stated on another review, do NOT buy anything from Target.com that you might have to return. You cannot return it to the store and Target.com customer service is lacking to say the very least.

This table is actually pretty nice and was exactly what I was looking for, BUT it came damaged and without enough hardware to put it together. Two of the corners of the tale are totally smashed from the delivery people probably just DROPPING it with no cares or concerns. I can't return it because I didn't take care of the box, because I never really imagined I would have to send it back.

If you find something you like at Target.com, try and buy it in the store if they have it because returns are a nightmare on the site.
